We love sharing chefs across American who bring diversity, innovation, and great food to the table. Chef Kristen Kish does all of that and more.
Born in Korea and raised in Michigan, Kish graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago before beginning her career in Boston. Wanting to pair contrasting tastes such as kimchi and burgers led Chef Kish to the culinary arts and helped develop her unique style.
Brought to the attention of American television audiences by winning season 10 of Top Chef, Chef Kish has since appeared on multiple shows including 36 Hours on Travel Channel, TruTV’s Fast Foodies and Simply Ming with award-winning Chef Ming Tsai.
In 2018, Kish became the chef at Arlo Grey in Austin, Texas. Also the co-author of the book Kristen Kish Cooking: Recipes and Techniques: A Cookbook, Chef Kish is considered one of the top up and coming young chefs in the country today.
